Getting Lasik was a life changing experience for me. I am thirty three years old and have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was twelve.
I wanted to have this procedure done years ago but due to my late-wife’s long and rough battle with cancer it wasn’t an option at that time.
Marianne lost her battle with cancer this past April. She was an amazing wife, friend, and mother to our four year old Anthony. Before she passed she said so many amazing things that I will cherish for the rest of my life. One thing she wanted me to do was to honor her by taking care of myself and Anthony. She made me promise that we would live life to the fullest and never feel sorry for ourselves. Marianne knew how bad I wanted to have this procedure and knew how much I had sacrificed to care for her and Anthony. She made me promise that I would do all the things that I had put on the back burner, especially Lasik. That’s how I ended up at Kremer Eye Center.
My overall experience with Kremer Eye Center was nothing less than impeccable! All of the staff members were extremely delightful. I was a little nervous before the procedure but could not believe how easy, quick, and painless it was. It took all but ten minutes and my eyes were done! I went home right after the procedure, went to bed, woke up the next morning and had perfect vision again
It’s truly amazing to have 20/20 vision again without the help of contacts and/or eyeglasses.
Getting Lasik was without a doubt the best investment I have made in a long time! I’m looking forward to a bright and clear future and many good years to come!

“I’d worn contacts since 10th grade and was tired of dealing with them and getting dirt under my lenses when I was playing. After asking friends for referrals and doing my homework, I knew that Kremer was the best place to go. Since my surgery, I’ve never taken a day off playing or working out. I would absolutely recommend Kremer.”

Dear Kremer Eye Center,
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experiences I’ve had with your practice. I had my initial consultation in your Center City Philadelphia office and my LASIK surgery at King of Prussia. Everyone on your team, including Dr. Aronsky who performed my surgery was tremendously courteous, comforting, and professional. It’s been six months now, and I still can’t believe how much my vision has improved. Thank you. I’m forever grateful.

“I was quite impressed with the efficiency of how Kremer was run. In one visit, I completed multiple yests and saw the surgeon who answered all of the questions about the procedure. All of my phone calls were responded to promptly. Eric, the surgery consultant was great. He went over everything concerning the financial part of the process and showed my wife and I all of the necessary information. Once I decided upon the surgery it was scheduled very quickly- No waiting for months. Everything went so smoothly. I loved that the appointmnts before and after surgery could be done at my family eye doctor- It was very convenient. I expressed my satisfaction to others that asked about the procedure and referred several folks. The people at Kremer made what could have been complicated, worry free! In conclusion, I was very impressed with the entire staff at Kremer Eye Center. It was a smooth-running process from start to finish.”

“There was very little discomfort from surgery to recovery. My experience with Kremer was a very positive one. Dr. Slochower explained everything very clearly and was very patient. It is so great to see without the need for glasses.

“In the spring of 2009, I was gven the unfortunate news from medical professionals at the United States Air Force Academy that I had “Topography Suggestive of Keratoconus” (TSPK). The this time, the diagnosis dashed my dreams of becoming a military pilot. However, because of Dr. Pronesti’s interest in my case, the situation has changed. After a long USAF medical re-evaluation process, I received word that TSPK would be removed from my medical file. Soon after, on Dec 20, 2010, I received a phone call from my commanding officer that my dream wasn’t dashed after all. Due to Dr. Pronesti’s evaluation, professional opinion and evpert data, the USAF doctors took another look at my case and changed their diagnosis. My medical status has changed and Keratoconus is no longer on my record. Based on the current world situation and need for the Air Force, I am proud to tell you that after graduation in May 2011, I will enter training to become a pilot of unmanned aircraft systems. Thank you for your interest in me. I will not forget the opportunity now presented to me because of your willingness to engage and help.”
