Kremer Eye Center surgeons apply the concepts of Russian ophthalmologist Dr. Svyatoslav Fyodorov to perform the first Radial Keratotomy in the Philadelphia region.
Kremer surgeons invent the ultrasonic pachymeter, which allow surgeons to measure corneal thickness more accurately before performing refractive surgery. This device continues to be an integral part of all vision correction procedures.
