George R. Pronesti, M.D.

Dr. George Pronesti, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist and Philadelphia-area LASIK and cataract surgeon. He serves as National Associate Director of Kremer Eye Center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pronesti obtained his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia, and then completed his internship and residency at the Friedenwald Eye Institute in Maryland.

Prior to joining the surgical team at Kremer Eye Center, Dr. Pronesti was Vice Chairman of Maryland General Hospital’s Department of Ophthalmology where he was responsible for the training of new doctors in leading-edge clinical and surgical techniques.

Dr. Pronesti has authored numerous publications and is the inventor of the Golf Bifocal. Dr. Pronesti has performed thousands of LASIK procedures and continues to perform the latest, most innovative procedures by participating in many ongoing FDA protocols. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Baltimore Medical Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
