John Sloat, O.D.

John Sloat, O.D. manages the pre- and post-operative care of LASIK refractive, cataract, and glaucoma patients at Kremer Eye Center in King of Prussia, PA. He has presented lectures at mini-fellowships on these topics and also runs his own successful optometric practice in Collegeville, PA.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from Albright College, Dr. Sloat went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned clinical honors. In addition to several internships, he performed a year-long residency in hospital-based primary care optometry at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. At Kremer Eye Center, Dr. Sloat has participated in numerous FDA sponsored trials.

Dr. Sloat has been published in Review of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Association.
