Dr. Dennis Slochower, M.D., is a board certified ophthalmologist and Philadelphia-area LASIK surgeon. He has performed thousands of laser procedures and other eye surgeries since he began practicing in 1982.
A graduate of George Washington University, Dr. Slochower obtained his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. Before becoming a Resident of Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, he performed internships at Framingham Union Hospital and Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Slochower has served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at both Hahnemann University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
Throughout his career, he has produced several surgical films and received an award for surgical techniques from the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Slochower has lectured nationally and is the author of several professional articles.
