LASIK & Vision Correction

Kremer is proud to offer a range of refractive treatments that improve your vision and treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia (the need for reading glasses). Refractive treatments like LASIK eye surgery work in the same way as glasses or contact lenses, by altering the eye so that light focuses correctly on the retina.

If you are a candidate for LASIK, we will go over the benefits and differences between standard LASIK, WAVEfront Custom LASIK, and IntraLase bladeless LASIK technology. WAVEfront LASIK is an advanced procedure that uses WAVEfront technology to create a 3D map of your cornea, allowing our surgeons to treat minute irregularities. IntraLase provides a bladeless way to create a fully custom cornea flap in the beginning of LASIK eye surgery. We generally recommend WAVEfront in conjunction with IntraLase, for an all-laser option that results in a completely personalized procedure. Kremer was the first in the region to offer this combined bladeless WAVEfront LASIK technology, and remains the most experienced.

Some of our other corrective procedures include PRK, LASeK, Epi-LASIK, Visian ICL, INTACS, and Clear Lens Extraction. Following your free consultation, we will be able to recommend the procedure best suited for your eyes.

All LASIK and PRK procedures are available at our Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Wilmington centers.
