Kremer Doctors Honored as Philadelphia’s Top Doctors

Kremer DoctorsEvery year, Philadelphia Magazine, Main Line Today, and Castle Connolly, publish their own list of the area’s best doctors. This year, three of Kremer Eye Center’s very own have been honored as Philadelphia’s “Top Docs” by Philadelphia Magazine, Main Line Today, and Castle Connolly.

Michael A. Aronsky, M.D.

Michael A. Aronsky, M.D., has a long history of helping many achieve better vision and has been nominated by Castle Connolly as one of the Top Docs of 2016.

Dr. Aronsky is a board certified ophthalmologist for the Cherry Hill, Center City, King of Prussia, and Springfield Kremer Eye Center locations. He specializes in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgery. He was also the first in the region to perform Intacs, bladeless LASIK, IntraLase-Enabled Keroplasty, and many other revolutionary vision correction procedures.

Carol J. Hoffman, M.D.

Castle Connolly has also nominated Carol J. Hoffman, M.D., as one of the Top Docs of 2016.

She is a board certified ophthalmologist and serves as the Medical Director of Kremer Eye Center in Cherry Hill and Wilmington. Dr. Hoffman has also performed thousands of LASIK procedures using the latest technologies.

George R. Pronesti, M.D.

George R. Pronesti, M.D. is the National Associate Director of Kremer Eye Center in King of Prussia. Recently, Main Line Today nominated him as a Top Doc of 2015. He was one of the top 21 ophthalmologists selected for the list.

Dr. Pronesti is a LASIK and cataract surgeon as well as a board certified ophthalmologist. Throughout his career, he has performed innovative and advanced LASIK procedures to ensure clear vision for all of his patients.

Anthony C. Zacchei, M.D.

Anthony Zacchei, M.D., serves as Kremer’s Director of Glaucoma in Center City, Cherry Hill, Horsham, King of Prussia, Pottstown, and Springfield and has been nominated as a Top Doc of 2016 by both Castle Connolly and Philadelphia Magazine.

Dr. Zacchei is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma, cataracts, and LASIK surgery. He has more than twenty years of experience performing advanced cataract and glaucoma surgeries, as well as procedures to help correct astigmatism and presbyopia.

About Each Award

Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. helps consumers find the best healthcare available. Castle Connolly publishes its list of top doctors online, as well as in a variety of printed directories, publications, and affiliate websites. More than 47,000 physicians, nationally and domestically, are nominated by their peers in an extensive survey process each year.

The Castle Connolly physician-led research team selects each honoree from those nominations based on criteria including their medical education, training, appointments, disciplinary histories, and more.

Philadelphia Magazine’s 2016 “Top Doctors,” a list of the region’s best physicians as chosen by their peers, with final selection by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

Licensed MD’s and OD’s are invited to nominate other doctors for consideration through the Castle Connolly website. Doctors are chosen by their experience, history, where they studied, if they are board certified, and more.

Main Line Today compiles a list of the top doctors licensed in Pennsylvania every year. Fellow doctors vote for their peers in a variety of specialties and the top voted doctors are listed.

This list is produced completely by Main Line Today and updated each year.
