Our Doctors Bios Ketki Soin, M.D.
Ketki Soin, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained Corneal Surgeon. Dr. Soin specializes in the treatment of the cornea, including corneal transplantation and collagen cross-linking for keratoconus, as well as the advanced treatment of cataracts and intraocular lens implants, including laser-assisted (Femtosecond) cataract surgery.
Dr. Soin graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, magna cum laude, and obtained her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Soin completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at University of Illinois Chicago, where she also served as Chief Resident, and went on to complete her Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Dr. Soin remains committed to clinical research, has authored numerous articles, and has received many honors and awards, including a Congressional Award for Achievement in Service and a President’s Volunteer Service Gold Medal.
Dr. Soin is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the Cornea Society, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), where she has presented multiple times. Dr. Soin, fluent in Hindi, also enjoys traveling, cooking, discovering new restaurants, and biking.
