A Closer Look at the Awards

Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd.
Castle Connolly has been committed to helping those across the country find the best healthcare services for their specific needs. Each year, they update and publish their list of Top Docs online and in printed publications and directories.

Creating the Castle Connolly Top Docs list involves conducting an in-depth survey where more than 50,000 medical professionals from across the country nominate their fellow doctors for the award.

Their physician-led team then selects the doctors who will be featured on the list based on many different factors, including medical education and training, board certifications, and professional achievements.

Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctors List
The Top Doctors List from Philadelphia Magazine is created and published annually. To develop the list, doctors nominate the peers they think are the very best in their fields. Prior to being selected, nominations are assessed for their experience both educationally and professionally.

This year, Philadelphia Magazine featured its most comprehensive list to date. It includes more than 2,000 physicians in 66 different specialties, including eye care, pediatrics, and psychiatry.
