LASIK Laser Eye Surgery & Refractive Procedures

Refractive procedures improve your vision and treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia (the need for reading glasses) commonly referred to as laser eye surgery or vision correction surgery. Refractive eye treatments like LASIK eye surgery work in the same way as glasses or contact lenses, by altering the eye so that light focuses correctly on the retina.Kremer King of Prussia

Cataract Surgery

If you’re dealing with a cataract that is interfering with your normal vision, don’t be impaired by it any longer. Cataract surgery usually results in complete vision rehabilitation and can be treated on an outpatient. Symptoms of cataracts include gradual decrease in vision over time, difficulty reading, difficulty watching TV and difficulty driving at night. Our cataract specialists can remove your cataracts and have you back to your normal routine with clear vision the next day.

Glaucoma Treatment

If glaucoma isn’t treated early enough, vision loss can be permanent. Our many glaucoma treatments range from eye drops to innovative laser treatments. If your glaucoma is severe, you may benefit from a surgical treatment. One of our glaucoma specialists will determine which surgery is right for you. The surgical treatment methods include Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty, Laser Peripheral Iridotomy, Endoscopic CycloPhotocoagulation, Trabeculectomy, or Shunt Procedures.

Corneal Transplants

Your cornea refracts light and focuses it on the retina which is essential for clear vision. If your cornea is damaged or irregular, it won’t be able focus light correctly. If you’re need in a corneal transplant, our surgeons will remove the damaged area of the cornea and replace it with a clear corneal tissue from a donor. Congenital diseases like keratoconus, scars from infection or trauma, degenerative corneal diseases and corneal dystrophies could all cause the cornea to lose its clarity.

Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery

We provide a wide range of ophthalmic treatments for conditions such as adult droopy eyelid, entropion, ectropion, eyelid tumors, tear duct problems and blepharoplasty. We also offer reconstructive surgery to restore cosmesis and function following injuries, burns or birth defects.
