LASIK Eye Surgery and Refractive Eye Treatments in Wilmington DE

Kremer’s Delaware surgical center provides a variety of vision correction treatments including our renowned iLASIK procedure. iLASIK is an advanced custom bladeless LASIK solution designed to deliver the best treatment for your specific needs. This surgery can correct nearsightedness and astigmatism.

Here is how iLASIK works:

  • Step 1: Using the cutting-edge iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System, we determine the best treatment option for you. The system scans each eye for three seconds and develops a 3D image that shows their visual pathways and how they process light. With these details, we can create a personalized treatment plan for the best vision correction results.
  • Step 2: Kremer surgeons will then use the iFS advanced bladeless laser to create a secure micro-thin flap in the cornea. Compared to other laser technologies, the iFS laser is designed and clinically proven to make the LASIK procedure safer, faster, and more precise.
  • Step 3: Next, our surgeons lift the LASIK flap in the cornea. Then, with an ultra-precise, cool laser beam, they apply the Advanced CustomVue Treatment. The treatment is guided by the digital information from your iDesign WaveScan and will reshape the cornea to the proper curvature. This will permanently correct your eyesight.

Once the treatment is applied, the LASIK flap is repositioned, and the procedure is complete. Most people see an improvement in vision immediately and can resume everyday activities in as little as a few days after the surgery.

In addition to LASIK, Kremer Eye Center also offers the following vision correction treatments:

  • PRK
  • LASEK
  • Epi-LASIK
  • Clear lens extraction
  • Intacs corneal implants
  • Visian ICL (available at our King of Prussia, PA, surgical center)

If you’re interested in improving your eyesight, schedule a FREE LASIK consultation to learn more about LASIK and our other vision correction treatments.
