WMMR’s Preston & Steve Show Producer receives Visian ICL vision correction alternative to LASIK at Kremer Eye Center

October 31, 2014

PHILADELPHIA, PA —The Regions leading vision correction surgeons at Kremer Eye Center, provide an alternative for those who don’t qualify for LASIK.

Having lived with poor eyesight for most of his life, Nick Murphy, the Videographer for 93.3 WMMR’s Preston and Steve Show, recently learned from Kremer Eye experts that he wasn’t a candidate for LASIK eye surgery and opted for a the Visian ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) procedure.

“Visian ICL differs from LASIK in that it doesn’t permanently reshape the eye but relies on a removable lens implanted in the eye,” says Kremer Eye Surgeon, Dr. George Pronesti. “Visian is formulated to sync with your body, it’s removable, provides UV protection and incredible sharp, clear vision.”

A video producer for the popular talk show, filmmaker, and web series producer, Murphy commented on his decision, saying, “Having good vision is really important for what I do, and it just makes for a better life, so I researched a lot of options. It was pretty clear that Kremer was the leader for all types of corrective surgery in our area.”

Kremer Eye Center urges those interested in vision correction to view their complete list of options and procedures at and to schedule a free consultation by calling 866-831-9192.
